Hi, My name is Robert, and I am a junior majoring in Anthropology. My focus is on cultural anthropology mainly on human behavior and music. I am in my second semester with AAS and looking to make it a fun one. When I'm not studying for classes, I am reading other books, mostly jazz history or some musical reference book to couple with my ongoing photography documentary project of Jazz in San Diego. AAS has become a place to relax from the studies as well as learn about other branches of Anthropology through my fellow student in the organization. Hope to see you at our next meeting!

My name is Briana!  I’m a fourth year anthropology major and I joined the club to become more active on campus and learn more about anthropology. Thanks to this club, I’m currently interning at the Museum of Man. When I’m not going to classes, studying or working I’m reading a good book, riding bikes by the beach, and trying new foods!

Hi everyone! My name is Katherine Isola, but you can call me Katie! I am a Junior here at SDSU and an anthropology major who is also minoring in Spanish. My focus is archaeology, more specifically I have an interest in pursuing marine archaeology, and hope to go to graduate school at the Scripps Center for Marine Archaeology in the future! I grew up in a beach town and have always been very passionate about our oceans and hope to bridge a gap between humans and ocean conservation through marine archaeology. I am excited to be your CAL Rep, and look forward to a great year ahead!

Shannon Farnsworth

Hi, I'm Shannon! I am graduating this May as a double major in anthropology and history. I plan on coming back straight away for a masters degree in anthropology! I am interested in historical archaeology and am involved with the Nathan Harrison Archaeology Project. This is my third year in AAS and I am so glad I joined. I've met so many friends through the club and have attended several workshops and events. Outside of school, I love going to the movies, cooking, and hanging out with my cat!

Hey I’m Lexi! I’m currently a third year anthropology major and I will be graduating in Fall 2019. I’m focusing on archaeology and I hope to return to SDSU to complete my masters. This is my third semester with AAS and I’m excited for what this semester has in store!

Leah Hails
Treasurer

Hi, my name is Leah Hails and I am a senior anthropology major, focusing in archaeology and biological anthropology and am minoring in Evolutionary Biology, American Indian Studies and Aerospace Studies. I am in Air Force ROTC and will commission as an officer in the Air Force when I graduate in May. I hope to eventually pursue a second career in bioarchaeology or historical archaeology after my time in the military. In my rare free time I love reading nonfiction, working with horses, and playing piano. I genuinely enjoy listening to classical music and watching documentaries, and I'm at my happiest when I'm climbing mountains. Looking forward to a great year with AAS as Treasurer.
